Bio
Stephen Sullivan is a recent MIT Sloan MBA graduate with a passion for delivering innovative technology products to consumers. His coursework focused on new product development, technology marketing, and the mobile business space. Stephen has been hooked on technology since age 13, when he created and ran a 250 person dial-up bulletin board system (basically how people got “online” before the Internet).
Last Summer Stephen worked for Cisco’s emerging technology group on their new flagship consumer TelePresence product. There he created requirements, performed consumer research, and defined product strategy for a number of features he cannot talk about.
Prior to MIT, Stephen led the development of electronics systems for the Joint Strike Fighter at Northrop Grumman’s Radio Systems Division in San Diego, California. There he received multiple awards by trail-blazing the use of open source software and agile development techniques. His design and development experience includes software platforms, ad-hoc networking technology, and software defined radio systems.
Stephen holds a BS with a double major in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Seattle University.
